RIBS, CHICKEN, and ROCK ‘N ROLL
Westport, CT – The popular new concert series, “Concerts and Cocktails,” is taking the show outdoors at Xpozur Gallery, 263 Riverside Avenue, on Sunday SEPT. 22 from 2 to 6 PM. To reflect the cuisine of the event, it will be known as “Concerts and BBQ.” The music is pure Rock ‘n Roll from “The One Night Stand Band.” This presents an opportunity to hear some of the best players in the area playing the best of rock ‘n roll – Suzanne Sheridan on vocals and rhythm guitar, Bob Cooper on keyboards, Tim DeHuff on lead guitar, and Jake Habegger on drums.
“Pulling together a group of musicians of this caliber with the chops that they each have is a bit of a coup,” remarked Rozanne Gates, producer of the event and the “Concert and Cocktails” series. “The people who come on July 21 are going to be dancing and rockin’ out to the music we all heard on the radio back in the 60’s and 70’s and eating home cooked chicken and ribs at the same time. I for one am counting the days.”
